Set in the midst of the Vietnam War, A Piece Of My Heart follows six of the some 10,000 women that were posted to Vietnam fighting an entirely different kind of war: looking after wounded and injured soldiers in the hospitals. It is virtually unknown that women were deployed to Vietnam at all, and these untold stories of the unsung heroes of the war need to be heard.

The true stories of six courageous women sent to Vietnam and their struggle to make sense of a war that irrevocably changed them and a nation that shunned them. A work with the music and soul of a tumultuous era in our history. We watch these women make friends, love connections and a life in this world on constant red alert. And then to return home to a world they thought would have changed – but they only thing that did was them.

The Sunday, November 13th show will feature a post show talkback with two very special ladies who served in Vietnam, recounting their heroic stories for our audience.

New York City’s own Infinite Variety productions is set to perform the compelling and captivating historical piece A Piece Of My Heart by Shirley Lauro at New York City’s Tank Theatre two weekends in November from Friday the 11th to Sunday the 20th.

Show Dates: November 11, 2011 – November 20, 2011

Tickets are available online at: www.brownpapertickets.com/producerevent/202331

A Limited number of complimentary tickets are available to veterans. For information please contact Ashley Adelman at www.AAdelman07@gmail.com.
